Principal's Report
Happy Holidays
Wishing everyone a very safe and happy holiday. This term has seen many families faced with health challenges due not only to COVID, but also the many other viruses and ‘bugs’ which have been going around.
To give you a bit of an idea of the impact COVID has had upon our school so far this year, during Term 1 we had 15 students who tested positive. In Term 2 we had another 39 students test positive, meaning that to date, around 40% of our students have tested positive. Based on Tasmanian statistics, this appears to be very close to the percentage of people across the state who have tested positive. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us in following COVID safe measures. It is certainly very important that we all continue to do this.
Best wishes to Miss Gray
At our Sharing Assembly on Monday the whole school took great delight in wishing our music teacher Miss Gray all the very best as she goes on maternity leave. We are all very excited for her and can’t wait for her to visit us with her baby a little later in the year.
Mrs Tollner will be taking on our music lessons for the remainder of the year, however due to her other work commitments, our music lessons will be changing to Wednesdays.
