Creating and making musical instruments from scrap materials.

Recently our class spent their Song Room session with Isaac and Miss Munson creating a collection of musical instruments from recycled materials and items you can find around the house.

The students were given a few clues to assist their thinking. To play their musical instrument students could pluck, blow, hit, scape. ………….. Then, the students were given a  chance to choose materials  that they needed to begin construction of their instruments.  In about forty minutes there were many success stories. There were lots of interesting creations and interesting sounds coming from instruments made.
