What is a Lullaby?
If your child is in the year 1/2 class they should be able to tell you. Maybe even sing one to help calm you or sing you to sleep. Students have been learning about lullabies, playing and singing lullabies and in the next few weeks are going to be composing their own lullabies. In the photos students are learning to set words to rhythms in preparation for their compositions.
Marimba Mania
Students in the Marimba Ensemble have started preparing for Marimba Mania. Marimba Mania is an annual combined schools’ concert held in Hobart. Learning music is hard work and gratification is delayed, but the effort is realised when students take part in this mass concert on the 11th of November.
