What an absolute delight it was to return to school and see our new play equipment installed.

It has of course been a big hit, with comments like, “This is the best thing ever!”

As many of you are aware, new play equipment is rather expensive, which is why this has been a long-term project for the Parents and Friends and the school.

The equipment (including installation) cost a little over $33,000 and has been funded by the Parents and Friends Fundraising efforts for quite a number of years, a contribution from the school and also a Helping Hands Grant from Huon Aquaculture.

A HUGE thank you to the Parents and Friends for undertaking this project. A HUGE thank you also to Huon Aquaculture for their contribution which covered the cost of the new bars. Finally, a HUGE thank you to everyone within our school community who has supported the fundraising efforts over the years.

The outcome has certainly been well worth it and will be enjoyed for many years to come.
