Tasmanian Folk Music at the Palias Theatre

Saturday November 19th. Doors and Palais Bar 6 30pm & Music from 7pm. Entry: $15 Adult $10 Concession & Kids free, paid at door.
Please bring a plate of nibbles to share during intermission.
Come along and immerse yourself in a lively evening of Tasmanian Folk music and collective effervescence at The Franklin Palais Theatre. Celebrate with us our last gathering of 2022!

While folk music can, in a simplified and abstracted form, be written and taught with standard pedagogy it is best learnt through immersion…only this way is the abstract notation brought to life and only this way is the heart of the tradition passed on – Steve Gadd.
