Kinder Report
We have been talking about ancient man and all the things that were different / but yet similar to today's world. For example the children have made a long list of the things that ancient people didn’t have that we have now. But we have discovered that many jobs that our parents do today could be seen as similar to ancient mans jobs for survival.
We used materials that would have been available for ancient people to build a shelter, from our bush. Mud (clay), sticks, bark from the stringy bark, which we learnt about from Bron, leaves and grass were collected.
The last question I asked was “Did ancient people live alone or in a group of people?” This is leading to the question
“What is community?” But you never know where the children may take it with their thinking and wondering.
