Grade 5/6 are off to a flying start with their i-Time projects. Throughout this term we will be engaged in individual projects of our own design. i-Time stands for ‘inquiry time’ and we have each taken a look into our interests and wonderings to form a question for our individual inquiry journey.

Some of the project questions include:

How can I become a You Tuber?

I wonder how I might hunt ghosts?

How was space formed and what’s up there?

Can I learn shorthand and morse code?

What can I learn from my Maori heritage?

Can I learn how to sew enough to make clothing?

What is the history of dance?

Can I design and build my own scooter?

How do I become a Lego Master?

How many natural disasters occur throughout the world and what is their effect?

Japanese mythology and the history of Japan?

How many different dog breeds are there and how do I become a dog breeder?

What different types of cancer are there and what are the current treatments?

How does your star sign predict your future and tell you so much about your personality?

As you can see, we have a variety of interests and many things to learn. We’d love for you to ask us about our projects, we’ll be working on them all term.
