NAIDOC week celebrations are being held nationally this Sunday 2^nd July.

Every year there is a theme and this year it is ‘For Our Elders’.

As advertised in previous newsletters, we have decided to hold an open afternoon for our elders on Friday 7 July from 2:00-2:55.

This is the last day of Term 3.

Many students will be creating personalised invitations to give an elder in their family inviting them to come along and share stories of their childhood experiences, comparing what is the same and what is different about school then and now. There may also be opportunities to share books and stories, building upon our schoolwide focus on Reading.

We look forward to welcoming our elders into our school.
