NAIDOC Week
Our NAIDOC Week celebrations began on Monday with a cleansing smoke ceremony lead by Ms Munro. Thomas proudly and confidently spoke a melukerdee Welcome to Country for the whole school as we gathered around the smoke pit and Aboriginal Flag.

In our front foyer are some wonderful paintings from our Prep Class created with soil from a place that is special to them.

We can’t wait to welcome our Elders into our school tomorrow afternoon.
Our Kindergarten class already started their NAIDOC week celebrations last week as Tania Steenholdt is away on Long Service Leave this week. They held their Elders afternoon last week and also enjoyed sitting on our wonderful new mat which we have received from Move Well Eat Well.
