Hi everyone, Grade Two/Three/Four had a space suit making day a few weeks ago. We used lots of cardboard boxes, sticky tape and miles and miles of imagination. First we watched BTN about new space suits that are being trialled. They are lighter and astronauts can move about in them more freely. Then we had a turn at designing and making our own.  We had to think about how you would put them on and what parts there were to each suit. Some of us made helmets and a few of us made some pretty snazzy shoes for space walks. Please enjoy our photos.
