What an exciting few weeks it has been for the Japanese program at Glen Huon Primary! Over this recent term break Ryan-sensei travelled to Nagano Prefecture in Japan to visit our new sister-school, Kurigaoka Elementary School. Further details about Kurigaoka are to follow, however, this relationship does open the exciting opportunity for Glen Huon students to communicate directly with Japanese students of their own age, targeting similar grammar and vocabulary and practicing these through dialogue together. We’ll have our first virtual hookups next month with the older grades.
