In the last few weeks, the children were presented with a Science.Technology.Engineering.Art.Maths challenge to create an adventure playground that catered for all ages and was inclusive.

The class brainstormed the types of playground equipment/ experiences that the park could include. The students formed groups, they were provided with a box and a variety of construction materials. They sketched designs and then began the construction process. There was lots of measuring, counting, estimating and problem solving going on. The children were totally engaged and enjoyed the process.
