School Association AGM

SCHOOL ASSOCIATION

The AGM for the Glen Huon Primary School Association will be held on Wednesday the 6th of March at 6pm in the staff room at Glen Huon Primary School.

The role of the school association is:

  • To participate in the formulation and development of:
    • A set of beliefs, values and priorities
    • School policies and code of conduct
  • Provide advice and recommendations to the Principal in relation to general operations and management
  • To approve the school budget
  • To foster cooperation among teachers, students, parents and the school community

The meetings are open to all parents and if you cannot attend in person you can also attend remotely by request. 

If you would like to nominate yourself for any vacant positions within the school association please visit the school office for more information.

The positions that are available for re-election are:

  • Chairperson
  • Vice-Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

We are looking forward to the 2024 school year and will be happy to meet new members!!
