On Thursday February 29, students from Prep-Grade 6 will be participating in the school swimming carnival at the Huonville Swimming Pool.
Upper primary students will have the opportunity to earn house points for each event they enter, and we encourage all students to enter as many events as they feel comfortable competing in, while Early Childhood student’s complete activities in the shallow pool.

Students will be travelling by bus from Glen Huon Primary School to the Huonville Swimming Pool with the first race beginning at 10:00am. The carnival will be completed by approximately 2:00pm to allow for students to return to school in time for buses. It is essential that student validation forms are returned to the school office prior to the carnival to ensure your child is allowed to swim at the carnival.

Parents are welcome to attend as spectators, however we are seeking volunteers to help make the day run smoothly. Some jobs which we require assist with are scorers, place judges and marshals. All volunteers must have a current WWVP card.
