Principal Report 19-2-2019
Onsite at Glen Huon
It is lovely to be back onsite at Glen Huon. We had our first Tuesday assembly this morning at which the resilience of the students was highlighted and commended. We talked about keeping an eye out for each other and checking in to see if things are OK. Our focus for the next fortnight will be Courage as we move forward into the rest of the year. The children look very smart in uniform. We do sell black shorts and trousers at the office for those who are not able to find them elsewhere.
As things are getting back to normal the school calendar is beginning to be populated. Whole school assemblies will now be held on the first Monday of every month with our first being scheduled for the 4th of March. The school calendar can be accessed from our website, https://glenhuonprimary.education.tas.edu.au/
Glen Huon Primary has a Parent Handbook that is given to new families and families who request a copy if they have lost their's. As part of keeping you informed and up to date I am going to highlight a piece from this handbook each week. Handbooks will be updated this week and given to our new parents.
