Principal's Report 12-3-2019
Meet and Greet
Don't forget to come and see your child's classroom and teacher this afternoon from 3.10pm - 3.45pm. (Due to unforeseen circumstances the Grade 2-3 class will meet and greet on another date.) This is a great opportunity for you to share in your child's education and see how they have started the academic year. Primary Progress reports will go home on Friday 22nd March. I look forward to seeing you this afternoon.
Gade 5-6 Camp
At the time of writing the air is full of excitement as we prepare for the Grade 5-6 camp at Port Arthur. Thank-you to Mrs Tucker who has worked hard to make sure our camp is great fun.
Bullying No Way
At our Tuesday morning assembly we continued to examine the value of Courage. We spoke about the courage required to speak up and to address situations you do not feel comfortable with. We spoke about using "I" statements in doing this. A motto for the week and beyond is "Choose Kind."
Parent Handbook
The update for this week is in regards to Absences.
Absences from School - Every Day Counts
A brief note or telephone call is all that is necessary. It is important that students are punctual each day ready to commence lessons. It is important that you let us know why your child is absent from school as we are required to record this information for the Department of Education.
