Kinder/Prep News
In Kinder/Prep we have been looking at the difference between living and non-living things. We found out that living things can move and breathe and they need food and water. We thought about what our pets need for food, water and shelter. There are so many different types of pets and they all have different needs. We looked at why trees are important to help us have good, clean air. This is really important for us and all living things.
Last Friday was a special day when we looked at what bullying is and why it is important to be kind and thoughtful. The Preps spent some time sharing with the Grade 1/2s and shared ‘welcoming statements’ with them.

Wow what a start to the year!!! The beginning has been a little unusual in many respects, from a different place for 2 weeks and a new K/Prep combined class, The children should be commended in how they have settled in and worked with the changes. Resilience and courage have been shown by all.
We are learning about Australian animals, including life cycles, habitats and characteristics. An excursion to Bonorong has been booked for the 7th May (2nd week back 2nd term) for all the K/P and Oxley 1/2 classes.
