Grade 5/6 have been discovering the area, perimeter and volume of different 2D and 3D shapes. We’ve been able to find out the volume of water held in the Huonville Swimming Pool and the circumference of the Parkes Space Dish! We’ve had lots of challenging moments like when we were given the Perimeter of a rectangle and we had to come up with all the possible side measurements that would make up that perimeter.
