This week in Smarties our sensory focus is on Mud Play! We will be having fun getting our hands dirty and learning about measurement, density, texture and imagination through glorious mud play!

On Wednesday we will be building a Mud Kitchen! We will be working with simple tools to build a work area, digging up some lovely dirt and planting some herbs and flowers to use in our mud play. Come in old clothes and bring a hat!

On Thursday we are off on our excursion to North West Bay River, meeting at the Sandlfy cricket grounds carpark at 10am. Everyone is welcome! Bring a snack to share for a lovely picnic by the water, a hat and sunblock, a drink bottle and a warm jacket in case the weather changes.

On Friday we will play with the parachute and read a story about Peppa Pig, then we'll have a play with some real mud - bring a hat as we will move outside for part of the session.

Smarties sessions are open to all children aged 0-5 and their families or carers, we hope to see you there!
