Robotics

Glen Huon Primary sent two teams to the State-wide Robotics competition.  They competed with great respect for each other and worked well together.  They were great ambassadors for Glen Huon Primary.  The two teams were, Yoda Best Team, Mike, Paige, Aiden J, Aidan F, Lucy, Jobi and Gabby and The Fridge Gremlins, Isaac, Elijah, Lincoln, Spencer, Philip, William, Jason and Shayden.  These two teams practiced and learnt robotics throughout the year.  Not all team members were able to participate on the day of the competition but were integral in the planning and programming prior to the competition.

It is interesting to walk around our classrooms and see some very interesting sculptures being created out of rubbish.  The big reveal of the sculptures is on Friday 15th November in the school hall.  This is a student council driven initiative aimed at raising money for another recycling bin for the school.  

Our School Association meeting is being held tomorrow night at six in the staffroom.   I will be discussing staffing for 2020.  All welcome to attend.
