What an exciting week it has been for Grade 5/6. On Monday last week our classroom was taken over by two television news crews and reporters from the newspaper. (If you missed the news take a look at our schools Facebook page).
Then again on Friday we were able to have the local newspaper back with us to cover our Rubbish Sculpture Trail display in the school hall.
Here we are pictured with our sculptures. We decided to reuse materials that would have ended up in landfill or been burned into the atmosphere. All materials were donated, a big thank you to the Watson, Hutchins and Mackay families, and Mr Tucker for letting us use his tools and building knowledge. We now have these wonderful wells as part of our school landscape. Come and take a look.
