Many and varied experiences help our brains to make connections (to learn and remember things). According to research, if those experiences involve play you can retain the information much quicker.

So here’s a game you might like to try, hope you enjoy.

Capture the Products

You will need a standard pack of 52 cards. Picture cards are worth 10.

How to play

Products are answers when you multiply (times) two numbers together. “The product of 2 & 5 is 10”.

Divide the pack between two players (you can play with more, but you will receive less cards each).

Both players flip over the first two cards. Multiply your own numbers together. The player with the highest product (answer) wins all four cards. If the products are the same, the cards are placed in the centre of the table. The next round is played as usual, but the winner of this round is allowed to take the centre cards as well !!!

The winner is the player who has captured the most cards when you run out of your original pile of cards.
