This term in Smarties we have a focus on the sounds and shapes of the letters of the alphabet, finding connections around us and exploring with our senses.

Every week we will have a letter focus table where your child can bring something from home that relates to our letter focus, as well as a name activity to build confidence with the special letters of your child's name, a sensory activity to stimulate the senses, and an "I wonder" table to invite investigation and deeper thinking.

This week we are focussing on the letter Bb. What can you find around the home that begins with b? Perhaps you can find the letter together in print or on signs. 

On Wednesday, 9:15-11 in Kinder,  we will be playing with bikes, bubbles and balls - we'll make berry muffins, and decorate some beautiful butterflies.

On Thursday, 9-11 in the bush, we will be searching for greetings and bugs, experimenting with mud and roasting apples on our campfire.

On Friday, 9:15-11 in the Hall, we will be singing and dancing, playing with the bats, balls and balloons, reading "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" and making a bird craft.
