Principal's Report 16-06-2020
Mid - Year Reports
It is important that you have a phone conversation with your child's teacher before the end of the term. Booking slips have gone home and should be returned to school as soon as possible. Confirmation slips will be coming home this week. As this is a very different way of reporting due to COVID restrictions it is vital that a phone session occurs, it is a way in which we can work together to improve learning outcomes for students.
Glen Huon Primary School AGM
Our Glen Huon Primary School Association AGM was postponed but is now booked in for 24th June at 6.00PM. All postions are vacant this year. If you wish to nominate we can e-mail you a form on request. If you intend on coming to the AGM please advise the office so that we can ensure we set up the meeting using the COVID safety guidelines. The meeting will be followed by a short general meeting in which I will provide some updates in regards to school happenings.
Buy Something Tasmanian
The head of state service Jenny Gale has written to all state service employees urging us to buy something Tasmanian. There has been a website set up by Brand Tasmania, the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Tasmanian Government to help us find and purchase Tasmanian produce. Here are the links for you to have a look at. https://buysomethingtasmanian.com.au/ https://buysomethingtasmanian.com.au/tourism/
