Calling all Junior soccer players!

The Junior season is going ahead this year with a ten round competition starting on 18 July and finishing on 26 September. We need to get an idea of who is keen to play so that we can work out how many teams to nominate. We had hoped to have training this Thursday but as the ground is currently closed due to the weather it looks as though that won't be possible. We understand that some families might not want to commit to a shorter season that involves social distancing for spectators but we are keen to provide an opportunity to play for any players who are interested.

The important things to think about when making a decision about playing this season are:

• At the moment we don't have access to the toilets at the ground. This is a Huon Valley Council ruling and we can't change it.
• Fees will be the same as last year - $100 per Junior player (with a $10 discount for siblings)
• Ticket to Play will still be operating (although it is currently being restructured) and will cover the $100 fee for eligible families.
• You might not end up on the same team as you were in last year, you might not have the same coach - as we work out who is playing and who isn't we may need to restructure the teams depending on where the numbers are.
• Players will all have to be responsible for their own shirts. Sharing oranges at half time may not be an option.
