Year 1/2 are learning about Money.  We will be recognising, describing and ordering Australian coins and notes according to their value. The children made a coin booklet and will be creating a class shop on Friday.

Families can help teach children about money by talking about everyday situations that involve money. Raising financially savvy children involves teaching them a variety of aspects from budgeting to planning, earning and saving. Besides giving them an understanding of the value of a dollar, teaching children about fiscal responsibility helps prepare them for life in the real world.
