The Australian Mathematics Competition is run every year. Last Tuesday 18 of our enthusiastic students gave it their full concentration.

The last questions are always multiple steps.

I wonder how you would tackle this one…

How many three digit numbers

… that is between 100 and 999

Have digits that add up to eight.

To get you started, 134 is one because     1 + 3 + 4 = 8
