Glen Huon has continued to be a very busy place.  The classrooms are a buzz with learning.  All teachers have been working very closely with Steph van der Schans focussing on place value.  There are some very interesting and engaging learning opportunites occuring in relation to this.  

The kindergarten build is continuing to progress with the framing now up.  It is very exciting to think we will have a brand new purpose built space for Kinder.  We have had a playground design expert come and have a look at the playground area for Kinder and our other two playground spaces that have equipment in them. It is hoped that we will be able to update all our play areas through a staged process.  

Southern Plumbing have arrived on site and are attending to our potable water system.  The potable water infrastructure has been problematic for a long time.  This current work will upgrade it all and tie all the previous work together so that the sytem runs seamlessly.  

Our lovely community seating at the front of the school has undergone a renovation and is looking great.  

We are waiting for the stump grinder to arrive at school to remove the stump from our pin oak and make a good sized hole so that we can replant another tree.  I will update you further on the planting when I find out more.
