Assemblies

Our next whole school monthly Assembly is on Monday 2nd November 1.50pm.  As we are still working to COVID safety rules you will need to let the office know if you are coming so we can arrange seating to meet COVID requirements. 

We have made the decision to have our final assembly on the 14th of December at Huonville Primary in their multi purpose room.  If we do this we will be able to accommodate many more adults for the occasion.  The students will be bussed to Huonville for the morning and the assembly will commence at 12.00PM.  This is advanced notice so that parents who wish to attend can arrange work commitments etc.  Closer to the date we will call for RSVPs so that we can arrange seating accordingly.

Thank you to the families who participated in our book week parade.  We were very lucky with the weather.  It was exciting to see such interesting characters arriving at school.

A reminder that Thursday is a show day holiday and Friday is a student free day.  

Our Kinder is now being clad with a lovely timber cladding.  It is exciting to see how much progress occurs from week to week. 

Many children need help to remember to bring their hats to school.  The UV rating is now high from 9.50 until 4.00 therefore protection is required between these times.  We did have some spare hats in the office but these are now somewhere in the mix meaning personal hats must be used. Appropriate hats are bucket hats, broad brimmed hats or legionnaires hats caps are not approved sun safety wear. Bucket hats are available from the office for $8.50.
