Principal's Report 1-12-2020
Children's University
It was a pleasure to see nine of our students graduate with 30 hours of extra curricula activity from the University of Tasmania's Children's University. Congratulations to, Ashlegh Wilson, Will Steenholdt, Amelie Asschers, Heather Hay, William Mackay, Clancy Stagg, Olive Steenholdt, Keira Anderson and Isaac Black. Sean Stevenson representing the University of Tasmania was extremely impressed with our students as gaining these hours during a year that has been severely impacted by a pandemic is an outstanding achievement.
Our Grade 6 students who are attending Huonville High are off to their orientation day tomorrow. it is very exciting to see them start their next educational adventure. They are well prepared and we wish them all the best.
Our Athletics Carnival was fun and Mannena House won the day by one point, you can't get much closer than that. The carnival is a focus on participation and our students rose to the occasion and participated fully in order to support their house. Thank you Declan for organising the carnival and the helpers around him who assisted with the set up and pack up. A team effort always makes these events much better.
