This is to let you know that Children’s University is running again at Glen Huon Primary.

What is CU?

Children’s University is a chance for students from grade 3 to grade 6 to be recognised for the learning activities they complete outside of school hours. Here is a brief introduction that appears on the consent form.

Children's University originated in the United Kingdom and Children’s University Australia was started by the University of Adelaide. Children’s University is a well-established, effective, and award-winning program that fosters curiosity and a love of learning in young people, broadening their horizons and raising aspirations.

Children's University Australia offers outstanding educational experiences for young people outside of school learning activities and recognises their achievements with the award of formal certificates. The University of Tasmania is proud to offer the Children’s University Australia program to young Tasmanians.

Please let us know if your child is interested in signing up and we will make sure the documents are sent home to you.

The cost for new participants is $5 – a one off sign up fee.

If your child is already signed up for 2021 there is no new cost involved.
