Principal's Report 31/08/2021
Congratulations Ms Webb
Congratulations to Ms Webb who recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Inclusive Education. We are very proud of you and are lucky to have your expertise and knowledge within our school team.
Grade 5/6 Band workshop
Six of our students recently attended a 2 day Band workshop in Hobart as part of their instrumental lessons. This was a wonderful opportunity to practice and perform with a larger group of students from schools right across Hobart. Thank you to the parents who helped with transport to and from Hobart on both days and also to Miss Emma Cooper for helping to provide this to our students.
Song Room
During Song Room Lessons today, the 2/3 class enjoyed making their very own instruments. A number of students got so excited and enthused about this that the instruments then also came out at recess time. What a great way to learn about resonance and to experiment with everyday materials to create things that can assist us with song and rhythm.
