Parents and Friends BBQ Fundraiser
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Parents and Friends BBQ fundraiser at Bunnings over the weekend. We had a very successful day and even had to re-stock part way through the day. Some new play equipment has already been ordered. Due to the time it takes for things to arrive via freight at the moment, this equipment is due to arrive in February 2022 and we will then embark on installation. It is likely that we will then continue to look at purchasing further pieces of equipment down the track. It is also very exciting to be able to announce that we have been successful in attracting a Huon Aquaculture grant. This will fund the replacement of the vertical bars which are an extremely popular item of play equipment.
Growing Up Program
Information letters regarding our upcoming Growing Up Program were sent home last week. This program is delivered by our school Nurse, Emma Middleton and is designed to meet the developmental needs of each specific age group within our school.
Parent/carer information sessions are a great opportunity for families to ask questions and to seek any guidance on how to support their children in having these important conversations.
The session for Grade 3-6 Parents/Carers is being held this Thursday 4th November from 9:00-10.00am.
The session for Kinder-Grade 2 Parents/Carers is on Thursday 11th November from 09.00-10.00am.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the school office and we will forward your inquiry to Emma.
Firstly thankyou to all the businesses and families who have made donations to our fundraiser! We have had loads of very generous offers.
Up for grabs we have vouchers for photography sessions, meal vouchers, plants, hampers and even a fishing trip for a family of 4!!
Please keep selling those tickets and there are more booklets at the school office if you want more!

On Wednesday we will be making the best of the warm morning and playing outside if we can! We will set up a table in the shade and make awesome slime, and get out the bikes and sand toys to play with.
On Wednesday afternoon, from 1:30 - 2:45 we have our first pre-kinder session running for those children who will be in Kinder next year.
On Thursday in the bush we will be making our own tools by whittling with potato peelers and binding sticks with twine.
On Friday we will have our first preschool Music and Art session in the Kinder room - singing and dancing for kids will begin at 9:20 but the room is open from 9am. Then we will have an art experience dripping and blowing colours, followed by free play in the Kinder space.
We hope to see you there!

A special thank you to Rebecca Triffitt who not only organised the whole thing but also stayed for most of the day to make sure it all ran smoothly.

You might be aware the Point to Pinnacle is coming up on 21st November. This year we are raising money for Bowel Cancel Australia, which has affected several people close to myself and my team mate Owen. Owen is in Grade 9, and has accepted to run the World’s Toughest Half Marathon with me! Any donation would be greatly appreciated … just click the link below to go straight to our page. Donations are tax deductible!
Thankyou…!
