COVID-19 update
Although we have been very lucky so far this year, COVID-19 continues to impact upon our school community.
Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe by keeping your children at home if they have symptoms, even if they are only mild.
A reminder that RAT tests are available from the school. Please contact the office if you require more and we can send them home with your child.
COVID-19 symptoms to look out for
Thank you to our entire school community for your cooperation this term by practising COVID-safe behaviours.
As you know, an important COVID-safe behaviour is to stay at home if you’re unwell and get tested for COVID-19 using a rapid antigen test.
It’s a good reminder to be mindful of the symptoms of COVID-19 in children. The most common symptoms of COVID-19 in children are cough, fever, runny nose and gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL - PYJAMA DAY
PYJAMA DAY IS TOMORROW!
On Friday 8th April the SRC invites you to come to school in Pyjamas.
This is a free fun event to support Nurse Emma who was going to teach us about sleep this week.
Unfortunately Nurse Emma was away today for her Sleep Information sessions, so she will have to take them next term, but we are all very much looking forward to wearing our Pyjamas to school all the same!
As it might be cold, please wear warm PJ’s.
A friendly reminder that as we near the end of Term 1, we still have a number of families who have yet to pay their school levies.
School Levies form an important part of our school budget, helping to pay for classroom materials and supplies, new library books, English and Maths resources and so on.
We know that paying the full amount in one big payment can be challenging. If you would prefer to make smaller regualr payments on a fortnightly, monthly or Term-by-term basis, please give Lyn Bender a call in the office.

Weekly Wondering – helping to Develop Curious and Creative Thinkers
Autumn is all around us. The days are getting cooler and shorter and the leaves are starting to change colour and fall off some of the trees.
What wonderings do you have about the changing seasons?
I am wondering why different leaves turn different colours. Some turn yellow, some orange, some brown and some even red!
I am also wondering why some trees lose their leaves but others don’t. Why don’t they all lose their leaves?
