Thank you to everyone who supported the Student Council’s Crazy Hair day on Tuesday.
$235.20 was raised, which will support the after-school drama club with costume and prop costs.
Congratulations also to Oliver who correctly guessed that there were 124 lollies in the lolly jar!
Oliver is in Prep and was helped by Hugh in making his guess. The following day Oliver came to school with a portion of the winnings to share with Hugh in recognition of his kind help. What a lovely story of kindness and caring across the school.
The Canteen special next week will be nachos. All funds raised goes back to the school to help support our students.

Students last week learnt about and practiced their Shodou skills. Shodou, or the Japanese artform of calligraphy dating back to the 8th Century with this particular writing script first being introduced from China around the 3rd Century BCE. Of course, as an artform, Shodou is not just simply about practicing handwriting but can be a very cathartic and creative activity. The character here is ki, which means tree – this character is also used in the word for Thursday and Jupiter.
