Last Thursday was R U OK? Day. This day is the National Day of Action dedicated to reminding everyone that every day is the day to ask ‘Are you OK?’ and support those struggling with life’s ups and downs.
A HUGE thank you Emma our wonderful School Health Nurse who helped to promote this day. Nurse Emma enlisted the help of our Student Representative Council to organise a range of recess and lunch time activities, as well as class activities.

During the term we have been focussing on a Science Unit of work titled – “Earth and Beyond.”
We have learnt many things about the universe in which we live. The students have recently completed some individual research tasks about a question of their choice.
The children have created posters, slideshows using “Powerpoint software and booklets".
Here are a few examples of their work:
We have also created our own planets- describing features of our planets.
We also investigated forces and thrust. We made some paper cup rockets that actually took off.
Watch out for these crazy alien creatures.
