End of Term
The last day of term for students is this Thursday the 11th of April. School resumes on the 29th of April. We hope you enjoy the time with your family and look forward to a great term 2.
Cross Country
Our school Cross Country will be held on the first Thursday back which is 2nd May and students have been practicing with Mr West. It is held at Glen Huon and utilises our beautiful bush area and oval. Following our school cross country selected students will participate in the Huon and Channel Cross Country Carnival on the 29th of May.
This is the last week of Smarties for Term 1, and Friday is a student-free day so there will be no Kinder-gym on Friday.
On Wednesday we will be baking some yummy Easter nests and having a special little Easter egg hunt in the garden.
On Thursday we will play in the bush and look for signs of animals - perhaps the Easter Bunny or Easter Bilby has visited us!
Have a wonderful school holiday! School starts back on Monday 29th April.

As ANZAC Day falls in the school holidays this year, we are extending an invitation for you to join us at the ANZAC Day service commencing in the Huonville Town Hall at 10:15am on Thursday 25th April.
Following a service in the Town Hall, the march down Main Street to the Cenotaph will take place. School representatives will then lay a wreath at the wreath laying ceremony. We ask all students that wish to join in the march and wreath laying to please be in full school uniform. Our school leaders will lay a wreath on behalf of the school, however, all children are welcome to lay a flower or arrangement at this ceremony. We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

I had planned to repaint the lines in the main carpark over the Christmas break but due to the fire emergency it didn't happen.
I will be preparing the areas to be painted on Friday 12th April and the painting will take place on Monday 15th or Tuesday 16th. Paint rollers, brushes etc. will be supplied and any help would be gratefully accepted.
If you can spare a couple of hours please contact the office.
