A big thank you to our whole community. Together we have made history and completed a week of learning in the most unusual circumstances. As predicted there have been a few glitches and you have shown resilience in working together to overcome them. It is pleasing to say that there have been far more successes than glitches. It has been great to see the vast way in which families are communicating with the school and sharing the work that is being undertaken. Students have particpated in the optional video conferences and we have made contact with every family every day. I have loved the sharing of pictures of fungi and other work that has been sent to school.
You would be aware that I have no information in regards to when school will resume as normal, however, I can reassure you that as soon as information becomes available I will forward it to you immediatley.
Maths Games to share at home for all.
The website Math for Love by Dan Finkle has a fantastic range of engaging challenges and games suitable for Kinder to Grade 10.
Here’s a short one that can be played multiple times whilst you perfect your winning strategy, apply your logic and practice your shape recognition and counting skills.
Use different coloured pencils to make your moves (and winnings) clearer. You can also place square tiles or small objects within your claimed squares to keep track of your score.
Remember whoever ‘claims’ the most squares at the end is the winner.

To help Australians respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, NBN Co is providing up to $50 million to assist phone and internet providers to support low-income family households with school-aged children who do not currently have an active NBN connection at home.
This funding will help phone and internet providers create more affordable offers to connect eligible families during Term 2. More than 20 phone and internet providers nationwide have agreed to participate in this program.
The assistance period runs from 1 April 2020 to 30 September 2020. Each phone and internet provider has their own pricing structure and may still charge a fee for monthly access, data costs and account set up fees.
Phone and internet providers that are ready to connect customers as of 1 May 2020 are:
